Policy Terminated Alert Updates!
You asked… we listened! 💃 We have updated how the Policy Terminated alert displays on exams:
If a patient has only one policy on file, and that policy is marked “No Benefits - Policy Terminated”, then the alert will display as it does today.
If another policy has been added, and that policy is either unchecked, marked as primary or secondary, then the alert will no longer display!
If a patient has a new exam where a terminated policy has been carried over, the alert will display on the new exam until a new policy has been added.
We also fixed a bug where multiple policy terminated alerts display on an exam. Once is enough!

Exam & Start/Records Scheduling Updates!
We noticed several instances where exam or start/records dates were being set to 12 AM, due to the time picker on the dashboard defaulting to 12 AM. This led to issues where eligibility was not verified in time for the patient’s actual exam time.
To prevent exam or start/record times being set to 12 AM, we updated how you select the exam time when you reschedule an exam or set a start/records date. Now the time picker will default to the current time, and then you can select the actual time of the exam or start/records date as normal.

Inactive Procedure Code Guardrails
In anticipation of the CDT code changes being made by the ADA in 2022, OrthoFi introduced new guardrails on January 1st to prevent new contracts from being signed with inactive codes, and to prevent new claims from being submitted with inactive codes
